ITC and the Rwandan Ministry of Trade, Industry and East African Community Affairs are partnering to support women entrepreneurs under the ITC SheTrades initiative in Rwanda.

The SheTrades Rwanda Launch brought together representatives of the business community, government, academia and financial services to foster women’s entrepreneurship and support them in overcoming challenges to grow their businesses and access global markets.

As part of the SheTrades Rwanda launch, there was a special focus on the Mitreeki East Africa–India Partnership. Mitreeki is an initiative of the ITC Supporting Indian Trade and Investment in Africa (SITA) project that aims to contribute to the goal of SheTrades by supporting women entrepreneurs in East Africa through knowledge exchange in the region and with India.
